A blend of Sangiovese and Canaiolo. This Vino Nobile di Montepulciano comes from a small winery in the township of Montepulciano. Made from a majority of a thinner skinned clone of Sangiovese and a little splash of Canaiolo, this wine has a dense core of baked dark fruit perfumed with tobacco, sandalwood and sweet leather. It's finer tannins and medium weight make this a super versatile wine for varied menus.
