Do Ferreiro is a small, family–run winery in the heart of Rias Baixas, a fairly young DO in Northwestern Sapin. They organically farm over 175 tiny plots of albariño in the Salnés subzone of Rías Baixas. The valley’s proximity to the ocean, natural protection by mountain ranges, and decomposed granitic soil have earned it the reputation of for being the best zone in Rías Baixas for growing Albarino. Do Ferreiro is marked by ripe stone fruits, fresh acidity, a strong mineral presence, and signature salinity on the finish.
