Winemaker notes, "Beautifully complex and remarkably aromatic, this wine draws you in with layers of black cherry, ripe plum, red currant and forest floor, as well as oak-inspired hints of roasted coffee, tobacco leaf, anise, clove and cocoa powder. On the smooth, supple palate, flavors of lush dark cherry, cassis, and spice are framed by fine-grained tannins. Though lovely in its youth, another 3-5 years of aging will bring additional complexity and elegance to this luxurious Merlot."
