*First vintage available in the mid-Atlantic
Dark ruby with purple rim. Incredibly intense and singular aromatic nose, with a bouquet of black cherry, white strawberry, ripe plum and tea leaf. So very elegant and still succulently textured. The whole cluster added tremendous character, and still is folded into the wine from the power of the low yields of 1.5 tons/acre, with intense flavors mirroring the aromas coming from this site near Freestone. Jack Hill is by far the wine to open hours before drinking, or take your time, as it continues to change with each smell and sip, becoming seamless, long, and with energetic and refreshing acids. Fantastic now with air, but excited to see where this wine goes over the next decade. 91 points Wine Advocate.
