A blend of three local black grape varieties: Xarel·lo vermell, Bastard Negre and Sumoll. The 2017 harvest was a vintage of contrast - producing concentrated round wines with good acidity.
2016 Vintage Review: "A highly complex bouquet evokes mineral-accented pear, quince, orange and pungent flowers, along with hints of tarragon and ginger. Juicy and sharply focused on the palate, offering concentrated tangerine, Anjou pear, persimmon and honeysuckle flavors that pick up a smoky nuance on the back half. Blends power and delicacy with a deft hand and finishes extremely long and precise, with repeating florality and a touch of smoky lees. This finely detailed, vibrant wine delivers superb value in the context of world-class sparklers." 94 Points, Vinous Media
