The 2023 boasts a deep ruby hue and pronounced aromas of black plum and mulberry, with an edge of mineral concentration and a hint of spice. The texture is tannic and dense, driving the wine to an impressively lingering finish that displays a great purity of fruit due to the ageing in large oak uprights (foudres). The grapes are from 1.75ha of east-facing vines that are up to 80 years of age.
