Quest Gluten Free Tripel Ale (ABV 8.5%), a tripel made without barley, is produced from all gluten free ingredients -- water, millet, buckwheat (soba), brown rice, sorghum, hops, and yeast -- by De Proefbrouwerij in Belgium for Green's in the UK.
Pours clear gold with a frothy white head, and aromas of green apple, lemon, spicy yeast, light grain, and grassy hops. With a fairly light body for a beer of this strength, the taste follows the nose, and the finish is dry.
